Description

SEGWAY Leansteer Sensor – Steering Sensor / Encoder slow – normal – fast (high quality replica)

choice of slower, normal or fast execution

Inertia slow: This encoder sensor reacts very sluggishly, therefore this component is only suitable for seat Segways not necessarily for Segway PT because it reacts too slowly for these devices, the Segway PT steers perceived slower than usual.

Inertia normal: This encoder sensor reacts the same as the original encoder of the manufacturer.

Inertia fast: This rotary encoder sensor reacts barely noticeably more agile, the Segway PT steers a bit faster by feel.

Segway PT encoder (incremental encoder) sensor for steering unit – fits Segway i2 and x2, both Gen 2 and SE.

Incremental encoders are sensors that detect changes in position (linear) or angle (rotary); in the Segway PT, they detect the desired steering movement of the rider.
The sensor for the pivot unit (pivot base assembly) is a safety-relevant component. Therefore, please only have them installed by qualified personnel.

Replacement for defective Leansteer sensor. A sensor fault is usually indicated by the error code E014 or E24 and a jerking during steering.

The jerking can also disappear in use, but should still be repaired or replaced immediately.

Removal only by trained personnel – calibration necessary!
